The terms that apply when you order certified translation or interpretation services from us.
Last updated: August 2026
These terms are between you and Real Application d.o.o., registered in Montenegro under tax/registration number (PIB / Matiฤni broj) 03641163, registry number 5-1215740/003, registered office at Gavrila Principa ulica 200, 8500 Bar, Montenegro, trading as LawTranslations. By ordering a translation, interpretation, or related service from us, you accept these terms.
We provide certified court translation and interpretation in Montenegro through sworn translators registered with the Ministry of Justice, along with related services such as document preparation, apostille support, company-formation paperwork, and hand-delivery of documents where agreed.
Prices for standard certified translation and interpretation are set by the tariff in the Law on Court Translators and are not negotiable. Any figure given before we've reviewed your documents is an estimate; the final price depends on language pair, page count, and turnaround, and is confirmed once we've seen the actual file. Services outside that statutory tariff โ such as document preparation, issuance, or apostille support โ are priced individually and agreed with you before work begins.
Payment is due as set out in your quote. We may ask for partial or full payment upfront, particularly for first-time clients or larger orders, before work starts or before certified documents are released.
You're responsible for making sure the documents and information you send us are complete, legible, and accurate. If a document is unclear, incomplete, or requires clarification, we'll get in touch before proceeding, which may affect the timeline. We handle your documents under the confidentiality obligations that apply to sworn court translators โ see our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
Standard turnaround is 2โ5 business days from the point a document is reviewed and confirmed, unless express or same-day service has been agreed. Digital copies are sent by email; physical certified copies are collected in person, delivered, or handed to a third party (such as your bank) by arrangement.
If you cancel an order after translation work has already begun, you'll be charged for the work completed up to that point. Orders cancelled before work has started are not charged, beyond any deposit already agreed as non-refundable in your quote.
If you believe a certified translation contains an error, tell us as soon as possible so we can review it. Corrections to a certified translation may only be made by the original sworn translator or another sworn translator, and any corrected page is re-issued with a new certification stamp. We do not charge for correcting a genuine error on our part.
We prepare certified translations to meet the standard formal requirements for submission in Montenegro, and to the specific requirements of an institution when we're told what they are. We aren't responsible for a court, authority, or institution โ in Montenegro or elsewhere โ choosing to reject, request changes to, or impose extra requirements on a translation, including for reasons outside our control such as local formatting preferences or changes in that institution's rules.
We take reasonable care in providing our services and stand behind the accuracy of our certified translations. We aren't liable for delays or losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including incomplete or inaccurate documents you supply, or delays caused by third parties such as courts, notaries, banks, or government institutions. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited under Montenegrin law.
The text, design, layout, and code of this website belong to Real Application d.o.o. unless otherwise noted. A translation we deliver to you is yours to use for its intended purpose; it doesn't transfer any rights in the source document itself.
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect a change in our services or in the law. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Changes apply to orders placed after that date.
These terms and the services described on this website are governed by the laws of Montenegro. Any dispute arising from these terms or our services falls under the jurisdiction of the competent court in Montenegro.
